They've grown so much and look really distinct now. Do they have instincts not to mate since they are brother and sister? When will they mature to the stage of breeding?
Re breeding, we don't know for sure, but we doubt that the chickens are biologically brother and sister. There were so many chickens at the farm where we got them, who knows. So breeding seems entirely possible, and we've been keeping our eye out for signs of humping. We don't want that. They mature to breeding stage any time now...that is, sometime from 2 to 4 months of age, we think. So Scratch better watch her back.

you should fit them with swiffer pads. that way they're not only pretty but also functional.
